However, somewhere in-between there's also a decent thriller that not only fairly engages you but also ensures that Leone isn't the only object of your attention. Sunny Leone's sensuousness has been put to full use, and she's made to strut her curvaceous form and oodles of oomph in bikinis, lingerie, scanty garbs, and sporadic sex scenes for the most part of the film's runtime.
The story comes full circle after 300 long years, when Leela has taken birth again as Meera and her lover's character is also reborn. It is a reincarnation tale about the love between Leela and her beloved, which was left incomplete because they were murdered by someone who craved Leela's affection and body for himself. Yes, the plot is nothing out of the ordinary, but it was never meant to be to begin with, and more importantly, Director Bobby Khan does a good job of presenting the story in a linear, uncomplicated, easy-to-follow manner. The colors and mood has been captured beautifully through out the movie. Specially frames in the desert are really great. Hats-off to the person who is behind the camera. The most beautiful highlight of the movie is the Cinematography and Choreography of the songs.
Sunny has again done a hard working job to improve herself as an actress, and praise her for that. And thumbs-up to Jas Arora for his performance as Bikram Singh, when you have considered to be as chocolate boy in raster years. Seeing two faces after a long time was great, Mohit Alahwat and Jas Arora after such a long gap.
They have written a great, interesting, and a twisting climax. Its a good pace movie with its own thrills, which should be credited to the writers. But Bobby Khan as a director did a really good job and made Leela a Surprisingly Good Movie. Ek Paheli Leela made some space in the promos by its entertaining and really good songs, but still on the expectations it didn't had much fate. When a movie has the name Sunny Leone in the cast list, expectations of the audiences doesn't go far.
